If a photo is worth a thousand words, this GIF of Hillary Clinton just made a major statement without having to say a single thing.

As Calvin Harris sounded off on Twitter about ex Taylor Swift finally confirming she secretly helped write and sing his new hit "This Is What You Came For" under a pseudonym, Katy Perry and the presidential contender suddenly got caught up in the mix.

His tweets were complimentary toward the "Shake It Off" songstress at first, calling the Grammy winner an "amazing lyric writer" and stating that she "smashed it as usual." However, the comments quickly turned messy as Harris questioned why Taylor suddenly wanted the public to know about her work on the track.

"I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though. And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym..Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though," Harris continued. "I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do."

After discreetly broaching the topic of Swift's new beau Tom Hiddleston, Harris threw another subtle jab at her unclear relationship with Katy Perry. "I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry," he declared. "I won't allow it."

Perry and Swift have been reportedly feuding for years— a fight that allegedly inspired Taylor's hit "Bad Blood." She told Rolling Stone in 2014 that she was singing about an unidentified female artist who had done something "so horrible" to her business-wise. Hours after the Rolling Stone interview went live, Perry curiously tweeted, "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing..."

However, a year later, Swift walked back on her comments, insisting to GQ that the song was really about the generic loss of a friendship and that she had concocted the story so people would not assume she was singing about an ex-boyfriend.

Regardless of the tangled details of their supposed behind-the-scenes conflict, Perry seemed to chime into the social media conversation Wednesday when she shared a GIF of an expressive Clinton soon after Harris mentioned her name.

While it initially seemed like Perry was going to let the politician she has personally endorsed react on her behalf, the CoverGirl spokeswoman also retweeted something she had written on her account in May 2015. "Time, the ultimate truth teller."

The date of the tweet proves to be interesting timing as last year on May 9, Taylor was busy cheering on Harris during his performance at the 2015 Wango Tango concert while they were still a rumored romantic item. "They are cute together. They seem happy," a source told E! News at the time. "They definitely look like they are dating."

As this digital quarrel continues to unfold, it seems everyone can benefit from heeding Harris' advice. "Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you've earned a great one."
