Who doesn't love a thoughtful gift from time to time?
During a recent interview with SiriusXM's The Morning Mash Up, Olivia Rodrigo shared the special gift Taylor Swift sent to her.
"She is absolutely the kindest individual in the whole world," said the 18-year-old singer. "Actually, last night, literally like 12 hours ago, I got a package from her with this like handwritten note. And she gave me this ring because she said she wore one just like it when she wrote Red and she wanted me to have one like it and all of this amazing stuff, she's like hand-wrapped these gifts."
Olivia continued, "I truly don't understand where she finds the time, first of all. But, like also, I feel so lucky that I just was born at the right time to be able to look up to somebody like her. I think she's incredible. All of her support and like genuine, like compassion and excitement for me is just been so, so surreal."
Taylor has previously sung Olivia's praises following her overwhelmingly successful single "driver's license."
On Jan. 8, Olivia took to her Instagram to share the top three songs on the U.S. iTunes chart, which included her single following Taylor's "it's time to go" and "right where you left me" from the deluxe release of her album, evermore.
Olivia captioned the photo, "next to taylor on the us i tunes chart i'm in a puddle of tears." In the comments, the 10-time Grammy winner wrote, "I say that's my baby and I'm really proud," alongside a series of applause emojis.
This isn't the first time Taylor has given heartfelt gifts to fellow celebs.
In September, Katy Perry took to her Instagram to share a photo of a pink embroidered blanket—with "Baby Bloom" stitched in the corner with a flower—for her and fiancé Orlando Bloom's daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom.
Katy captioned the photos, "Miss [daisy emoji, dove emoji] adores her hand embroidered blankie from miss @taylorswift hope it's one she drags around for years till it becomes an unrecognizable shred that she keeps in her pocket as a teenager."
Later that same month, Gigi Hadid, shared a discreet photo of her and Zayn Malik's newborn daughter Khai with an embroidered pink blanket made by the "cardigan" singer" to her social media.
New mom Gigi captioned the sweet snapshot, "Auntie @taylorswift made this !!"
