This red carpet trend is giving us serious bridal vibes.
We're not sure what's going on, but lately it seems like everyone in Hollywood has wedding fever—thanks to their wardrobes.
Jennifer Lawrence was a vision in white at the most recent stop on her Passengers press tour, the Los Angeles premiere. The actress, of course, wore Dior (she's been their spokeswoman since 2013, after all), but the whimsical gown with a full tulle skirt was an unexpected choice. Note the one very small yet very significant detail on the dress that is the red, bleeding heart on the left side of the dress' corset.
If you're not up-to-date in the world of Dior (or fencing), the fashion house's first female creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, debuted a collection made up of white, quilted fencing looks topped off with hearts and bees. As she put it, fencing "involves mind and heart at the same time, which women always need if they are to realize themselves." Deep, J. Law. Deep.
There's just something so perfect about Mindy Kaling's choice of white dress. Her semi-short and super-sweet J. Mendel number is ladylike and sophisticated without being too stuffy (basically, exactly what we'd expect to see her in on her big day). The star then kept the look really chill with her choice of footwear (a classic black pointed-toe pump) and keeping her hair down. Nailed it.
At the 2016 Critic's Choice Awards, Amy Adams took to the blue carpet in this sultry, statuesque white Versace dress. And again, it was almost to a T what we'd imagine she might have looked like at her wedding. Everything from the statement earrings to her gorgeous ponytail to her natural makeup was flawless.
If your style leans more to the bohemian side of fashion, Olivia Munn's white gown is going to be your favorite. The actress rolled up to the premiere of her new move Office Christmas Party in this Jonathan Simkhai dress, fit for an outdoor wedding under the stars. All of the intricate details (the ruffled skirt, crochet-esque top, the multiple thin straps) work together so beautifully—so, Aaron Rodgers, what are you waiting for? JK. JK.
Now we all know what Solange Knowles looked like on her actual wedding day—partially thanks to the incredible pictures Beyoncé Instagrammed—but there are some major similarities between the two dresses. The singer-songwriter is always creating and manifesting new trends, so it's no surprise she wore a the ever-popular fabric velvet on a recent night out.
