Are people going to start shipping a new Hollywood couple?
In an effort to give paparazzi something to talk about, Jennifer Garner decided to joke around with the shutterbugs who were following her back to her car with a gal-pal after workout in Los Angeles. Per usual, the paps asked the actress about her love life (her and ex Ben Affleck continue to make headlines), but this time she threw them for a whirlwind.
"Brad [Pitt] and I are dating," she said "You're dating Brad Pitt?" the videographer asked, to which Garner laughs, "Yeah!" Her comment drew laughs from everyone around her, and Garner continued to giggle her way to the car with coffee in hand. The humble and sweet moment was entertaining to watch, but we gotta ask—did she just plant some seeds in peoples' minds?
Sure, that might be awkward given the small circle of A-listers and the possibility of a Ben-Jen-Brad-Angelina Jolie feud, but in Hollywood, that doesn't tend to stop people (or at least, stop people from imagining it happening).
Regardless, we know Garner was just throwing paps a bone for some entertainment. In fact, Garner compared her split with Affleck to that of Pitt and Jennifer Aniston earlier this year.
The Miracles From Heaven actress opened up about her marriage's demise in the pages of Vanity Fair's March 2016 issue and revealed that she's she's aware that people are waiting for her and Ben to get back together.
"When Jen Aniston and Brad Pitt broke up," she admitted to the magazine, "I was dying to see something that said they were getting back together."
As we all know by now, that wasn't the case and Pitt ended up in a relationship (and then marriage) with Jolie. Similar to that case, Garner suggested that fans need to stop themselves from hoping that she and Affleck will call the breakup off and get back together, because that doesn't seem likely.
But what about dating Pitt? Would you ship it?
