If you're going to play a legendary superhero on the big screen who better to get advice from than Iron Man and Thor.

Tom Holland, who stars in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot Spider-Man: Homecoming, says Chris Hemsworth offered him solid advice after they starred together in The Heart of the Sea.

"Once I got cast he sent me a really lovely email about just make sure you keep your feet on the ground and you don't let this affect you," Holland told me at Comic-Con. "You keep your family and your friends close and, and that's exactly what I've done."

In fact, he brought his best friend along to Comic-Con.

Holland screen-tested with Robert Downey Jr. "As you can imagine I was pretty terrified and he came up to me and said, 'Look, I felt exactly the same as you did when I did my test for Iron Man but just relax, let your body take over and, and if it's meant to be it'll happen,'" Holland remembered.

As we now know, the young British actor made his Spidey debut in Captain America: Civil War.

Spider-Man: Homecoming just started shooting about two weeks ago. Holland and his co-stars, along with director Jon Watts, presented fresh footage, including some great action sequences, from the film in Hall H during Marvel's Comic-Con presentation.

"I've been scared, for sure," Holland said of his stunt work. I can't tell you what the stunt was because it'll give something away but I basically had to nose dive like thirty-feet or something like that and, and it was really fun but it's that moment when they're like three, two, one that you're like, 'Ahhh.' But it was awesome."
