For decades, Prince's songs and talent have has inspired scores of fellow singers and musicians.

The iconic performer was found dead Thursday at his Paisley Park studio in Minnesota in what marked one of the most shocking celebrity deaths of the year and a massive loss for the international music community. He was 57 years old.

Over the years, many other singers have performed covers of some of his hits. Check out a few below.

1. Kelly Clarkson - "Purple Rain"

The pop star covered Prince's most famous hit at a concert in his native Minnesota last year.

"No pressure," she joked onstage.
