While Vanessa Lachey may now be busier than ever after welcoming her second child earlier this month, the 34-year-old beauty took a break from mommy duty on Saturday night to enjoy a night out with her pals.

The TV personality, who gave birth to daughter Brooklyn Elisabeth on Jan. 5, attended the launch of the Nine Zero One Salon on Melrose Place, where the mother of two left her newborn at home (presumably, with hubby Nick Lachey) to show her support for close pals and salon co-owners Riawna Capri and Nikki Lee.

"There's only one true Riawna smile!!! Although we all gave it our best shot!!! We LOVE you Ice Queen!" Lachey captioned an Instagram pic which was also posted on Capri's page and features fellow celebs Nina Dobrev, Ashley Tisdale and Jennifer Morrison

According to a source, "Vanessa came late," although "she seemed to be in a really good mood."

And in addition to playing around in the photo booth, the Philippine-born beauty took a moment to talk with her close pals.

Vanessa was "chatting with all the girls and catching up," the insider said, adding, "She didn't stay terribly long."

It's been just over two weeks since Nick and Vanessa, who are already parents to 2-year-old son Camden, welcomed their second child. The proud mama announced the news on her blog, sharing a photo in which she is clutching her daughter's tiny fingers while gushing over her baby girl.

"She was born January 5th, 2015 at 5:17pm. She weighed in at 7 pounds 15 ounces, is 21 inches long and has already won over all of our hearts," wrote Vanessa. "I have been dreaming of this moment for as long as I can remember, the day I was going to meet my little girl. A friend recently told me how magical today was going to be because it's the day I would meet my best friend. I can't even begin to tell you how it felt to hold her in my arms for the very first time. Mommy, Daddy and big brother Cam love you so much already, Brooklyn!"

Aww. Happy to hear the mother of two is doing well!
