Nothing like a little mother-son time to mend a broken heart.

Newly single Josh Murray, who called off his engagement to Bachelorette beauty Andi Dorfman last week, was spotted near his parents' home in Tampa, Fla. on Tuesday, just five days after the former couple announced their breakup in a joint statement

"After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it's best for both of us to go our separate ways," the pair, who got engaged in front of millions of viewers on the finale of season 10 of The Bachelorette, said. "We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what's best for both of us individually. We will continue to be good friends and have nothing but great things to say about each other and wish each other the best."

Murray appeared to be in a somewhat somber mood as he took his bulldog Sabel on a walk, failing to crack a smile as he strolled through the sunshine. The 30-year-old salesman was accompanied by his mother, Lauren Murray (BTW, can we talk about how insanely good his mother looks?! Talk about good genes!) and the two appeared at ease as they enjoyed quality time together.

Since announcing the split, Murray has remained mum on social media, with the exception of a recent tweet alerting fans he was heading home. Likewise, Dorfman also has not tweeted since the split, nor has she deleted the title of "The Future Mrs. Murray" on her Instagram page.

While many fans were shocked by the Bachelorette pair's breakup, considering the two were packing on the PDA at the live Bachelor premiere just one week ago, Murray's mother weighed in on the split on Facebook and revealed that she believed it was for the best.

"I know we all wanted the storybook ending but I trust The Lord has an even better journey for each of them and that makes my heart happy," she wrote on Facebook on Jan. 9, per US Weekly, adding that she was "happy they figured this out before getting married & having kids."

As with any high-profile split, a number of now-cringeworthy quotes have emerged from the duo's happier days, and in their final interview before calling it quits, the two revealed where they saw themselves as a couple in five years.

"Parents of two [kids] working on number three… [and] I hope we still live in Atlanta," Dorfman shared while Josh noted that the two "just love helping people" and hope to continue doing so.

Wishing them both all the best.
