Ladies and gentleman, step right up to the big top and see the new American Horror Story: Freak Show trailer! In the footage, featuring scenes from the new season of the FX hit, we see so much: Pepper! Jessica Lange singing! Sarah Paulson's conjoined twins! Kathy Bates with a beard! Twisty the Clown! Wait, that's not something to be excited about unless you love terrifying clowns. Otherwise, it's a treat for the eyes. Check the trailer in all its freaky glory above.

"What you're about to see will astound your senses and harrow your very souls," the bearded lady Ethel Darling (Bates) says.

Can we take a minute and talk about Paulson's performance as the twins? Because we're already blown away.

And just what is Elsa Mars (Lange), our soon-to-be-favorite chanteuse singing? Lana Del Rey, according to series co-creator Ryan Murphy. Murphy responded to a question on Twitter and said, "Tina, don't be afraid! The clown is scary, true. But don't you wanna see Jessica Lange sing a Lana Del Rey song?" Tina, the answer is yes, you do want to see Jessica Lange sing a Lana Del Rey song.

American Horror Story: Freak Show also stars Frances Conroy, Finn Wittrock, Angeal Bassett, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, Michael Chiklis and Denis O'Hare. The show will also feature appearances by Patti LaBelle, Gabourey Sidibe, Matt Bomer and Wes Bentley. Naomi Grossman returns as her American Horror Story: Asylum character Pepper, the first time a character has crossed over between seasons and John Carroll Lynch is poised to give you nightmares as the villainous clown.

Worry not: If you thought American Horror Story: Coven was too campy, Freak Show returns to the scary basics.

"I have to say, Freak Show is really scarier...I read the script and I was having nightmares," Roberts told us.

American Horror Story: Freak Show premieres Oct. 8 at 10 p.m. on FX.
