The couple welcomed son Kelsey Gabriel Elias Tuesday at 8:28 a.m. in L.A. He weighed 8 lbs., 2 oz.
"We are blessed and excited to have this lovely young man join our family—he is magnificent!" the proud new parents tell E! News in a statement. "Our son will be called Gabriel as there is a tradition in our family of going by our middle names." (The former Frasier star's full name is Allen Kelsey Grammer.)
Kelsey, 59, and Kayte, 33, have a 2-year-old daughter named Faith Evangeline Elisa. The former Boss star has four more kids—Spencer, 30, Greer, 22, Mason, 12, and Jude, 9—from his previous marriages.
