While Adam Brody and Leighton Meester may choose not to comment on their marriage after secretly tying the knot, the brunette beauty's former costar couldn't help but gush over the newlyweds when asked about the adorable couple.
E! News caught up with Jessica Szohr at the Need for Speed premiere on Thursday evening, where the erstwhile Gossip Girl star revealed she has gotten a chance to congratulate her pal on her recent I-dos, calling Leighton "amazing," while admitting the pair is perfect for each other.
"I'm super-happy for her," the Internship star gushed, looking gorgeous in a sexy black jumpsuit.
In mid-February, E! News confirmed that Meester wed the former O.C. stud in a top secret ceremony, although the notoriously private pair managed to keep the news of their I-dos under wraps for some time.
After the news of the nuptials broke, a source exclusively told us that "Leighton and Adam got married in Northern California by the ocean a couple of weeks ago," adding, "it was a very small and intimate wedding with close family and friends. It was beautiful."
"She's always been so beautiful at heart and lovely," Szohr continued. "She deserves the best and Adam's a very sweet guy, so I'm happy for them."

Although Meester has stayed mum on her marriage, the actress finally (!) flashed her wedding ring for the first time, which appeared to be paired with her engagement bling, while attending the Of Mice and Men Broadway press conference held at the Signature Theatre on Thursday in NYC.
Meanwhile, Brody was last photographed leaving a boxing gym in mid-February, shortly after news of the twosome's nuptials broke, where he was snapped sporting his new favorite accessory on that finger.
