The Grammys ratings are in and...they're on par with last year.

Early numbers from Nielsen have the 56th Annual Grammy Awards pulling in more than 29 million viewers with a 10.1 rating in adults 18-49. While early figures put the Grammys at 29.7 million viewers, the final tally was adjusted down to 28.5 million viewers, according to CBS. The 2013 ceremony had 28.4 million viewers and a 10.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

The 2014 ceremony included performances by Daft Punk, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Madonna, Lorde, Taylor Swift, Willie Nelson, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Daft Punk and Lorde were big winners at the 2014 ceremony, with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis taking home the Grammy for Best New Artist, Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance.

Lorde took home the Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance and Song of the Year.

In the non-music categories, Kathy Griffin took home her first Grammy in the Best Comedy Album category, making her two away from an EGOT. Griffin previously won two Emmys for her Bravo reality series My Life on the D-List. Stephen Colbert took home the Grammy for Best Spoken Word Album.
