Fred Duval/FilmMagicWe must admit, we found Taylor Lautner and Lily Collins super boring as a couple (and on the big screen), but the pair looked fabulous together at the U.K. Abduction premiere.
And while they may have been all smiles for the camera, we can't help but wonder if Lil was a bit jealous when her ex-boy-toy was swarmed by every Abduction Twilight fan in sight.
So how awkward was the ex-factor?
Not too much, actually, if you ask Mr. Lautner, who, in fact, gushed about his costar and former gal:
"Everybody from the very beginning knew that Lily was the only person for this role. She was the only girl I read with—that was all we needed to see."
For a breakup that supposedly happened because Taylor wasn't into it, he sure seemed quick to brag about his costar—even after Abduction was met with such awful reviews.
And while we do love that Taylor sticks up for his ex, we are less than thrilled that Taylor seems set on making him and Lil the next Robsten (even when we know the couple is dunzo).
So does that mean Taylor missed his beloved costars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart while filming Abduction?
Hardly.
"I knew I'd see enough of them then. It was great to be with new with people, and be with Lily and everyone else we've mentioned."
And while we understand your excitement in leaving Jacob behind, we suggest you tread carefully in the future—Abduction bombed, it didn't work with Lil, and you didn't fool us.
So try something new, Tay, because Robsten's shoes are just too big to fill.
